　　A 19-meter-long sperm whale was rescued(營救)from the shores of Xiangshan county in Ningbo, Zhejiang province on April 20 after being stranded(擱淺的)for over 21 hours.

　　The stranded whale, which weighed about70 tons was 1 (one) noticed by fishermen.Although whales breathe oxygen like land animals,they need water 2 (stop) them from overheating. The fishermen feared that the whale would die 3 it was not pushed back into the sea in time, so they called the police.A 200-person rescue team arrived immediately. 　　A wildlife expert from Zhejiang Ocean University said these areas have had whales stranded several 10 (time) in recent years. And this is the first time that China has successfully rescued a large sperm whale.
