in，on，at的時間用法和地點用法

一、in, on, at的時間用法

①固定短語：

in the morning/afternoon/evening在早晨/下午/傍晚,

at noon/night在中午/夜晚, (不強調范圍，強調的話用during the night)

early in the morning=in the early morning在大清早，

late at night在深夜

on the weekend在周末(英式用at the weekend在周末， at weekends每逢周末)

on weekdays/weekends在工作日/周末，

on school days/nights在上學日/上學的當天晚上，

②不加介詞

this, that, last, next, every, one, yesterday, today, tomorrow, tonight，all，most等之前一般不加介詞。如，

this morning 今天早晨

(on)that day在那天 (that day更常用些)

last week上周

next year明年

the next month第二個月(以過去為起點的第二個月，next month以現在為起點的下個月)

every day每天

one morning一天早晨

yesterday afternoon昨天下午

tomorrow morning明天早晨

all day/morning/night整天/整個早晨/整晚(等于the whole day/morning/night)

most of the time (在)大多數時間

③一般規則

關于on

生日、on my ninth birthday在我九歲生日那天

節日、on Teachers’Day在教師節

(注意：節日里有表人的詞匯先復數再加s’所有格，如on Children’s Day, on Women’s Day, on Teachers’ Day有四個節日強調單數之意思，on Mother’s Day, on Father’s Day, on April Fool’s Day, on Valentine’s Day)

星期、on Sunday在周日，on Sunday morning在周日早晨

on the last Friday of each month 在每個月的最后一個星期五

日期、on June 2nd 在六月二日

on the second (of June 2nd) 在六月的第二天即在六月二日

on the morning of June 2nd 在六月二日的早晨，on a rainy morning在一個多雨的早晨

on a certain day 在某天

on the second day在第二天(以過去某天為參照)

注意：on Sunday在周日，on Sundays每逢周日(用復數表每逢之意)，every Sunday每個周日，基本一個意思。on a school day 在某個上學日， on school days每逢上學日。on the weekend在周末，on weekends每逢周末。

關于in

in June在六月

in June, 2010在2010年六月

in 2010在2010年

in a month/year 在一個月/年里(在將來時里翻譯成一個月/年之后)

in spring在春天

in the day(time)在白天，可換成during

in those days在當時，in the old days在過去的日子

in holidays在假期里(也可寫成during holidays強調假期期間這個時間范圍。如果強調度假用on holiday或者on vacation)

in the 1990s=in the 1990’s在20世紀90年代。

early/late in the 1990s在20世紀90年代前頁/后頁

in 20th century 在20世紀

in the eighties在八十年代

in his eighties 在他八十多歲時 in my teens在我十幾歲時的時候

in a day or two在一兩天內，in three years 在三年后in a minute一分鐘之后，即一會之后，(將來時的時間，不用after)類似還有in a second一會之后, in a short time在段時間內, in a while 一會之后in no time馬上

in the future在將來， in future 從今以后=from now on

in time及時 (on time 準時，及時指在事情未晚之前做成，強調最后期限。準時指在指定時間時間做成。)

in my childhood在我的童年里

in my free/leisure time在我空閑時，in可換成during，也可以寫成at leisure在空閑時

關于at

at 6:00在六點

at this time/moment (of day)在(一天中的)這個時間

at that time/moment (of year)在(一年中的)那個時間

at any time 隨時

at the correct/proper time 在正確的時間

at the same time 同時 或者in the meantime 同時，于此同時

at times 偶爾，時常

at Christmas (time) 在圣誕節時(注意，如果用on，寫成on Christmas Day)

at festivals每逢節日 (用復數表每逢。如強調時間范圍則用during festivals)

at breakfast/lunch/dinner在早餐/午餐/晚餐時 at meals在三餐時

at the end/beginning of last term在上學期結束/開始，過去時的時間。(by the end of last term直到上學期期末，過去完成時的時間。注意 in the end最后/終于=finally=at last)

at the start of the concert在音樂會開始

at the age of ten，在十歲時，at forty在四十歲時

at first/last首選/最后

at down在黎明時，

at daybreak 在天亮時，

at sunrise 當日出時，

at dusk在黃昏時

at sunset 在日落時，

at dark在天黑時

at midnight 在半夜，

at present在目前

二、in, on, at的地點用法

記住單詞的基本含義，通過翻譯就很容易區分了。

on強調“在…上”(表面)，in強調“在…里”(空間范圍內)at強調“點”，可翻譯成“在…”“在…處”或者“在...旁”。

以on為例：

on表在…上(表面)

on the cover of the book. 在書的封面上

on this menu. 在這菜單上

on the wall.　在那墻上。(Some pictures are on the wall。一些圖畫在墻上。There are four windows are in the wall. 按照漢語習慣雖然翻譯成在墻上有四扇窗，但是實際窗戶的位置是在墻“里”。)

on the tree 在樹上，指果實長在樹上。(There are some red apples on the tree. 在樹上有一些紅蘋果。Some birds are in the tree.一些鳥在樹上。指的是樹的枝椏間。)

on the 7th floor在八樓(第一層不算。)也可寫成in the 7the storey在八樓

on the way to…　在去…的路上

on the bed　在床上，強調位置，或in the bed，不加冠詞時in bed則表示人躺/坐/看書等在床上

on the ceiling 在天花板上

on the floor 在地板上

on the street/road在街道/上 (英式寫成in the street/road)

on the lake 在湖面上，接觸湖水表面，比如小船 ，如吃水深則用in，如A ship is in the river.(over the lake則指在湖的正上方，不接觸湖面)

on the farm在農場，用on表示開闊處，沒有空間in的意思。

on land在陸地上

on the top of the mountain在山頂，如頂端是一個點，at the top of the chimney在煙囪頂端

on the side of the road在路邊上，如lie on the roadside躺在路邊。如不強調“上”，可換成at the side of。

on the playground在操場上，英式則寫成in the playground

on表在…上或者搭乘：

on a bus 乘巴士，在公汽上 in a bus 在公汽里

on a train 乘火車，在火車上 in a train 在火車里

on a plane 乘飛機，在飛機上 in a plane在飛機里

on a ship乘輪船，在輪船上 in a ship 在輪船里，表達的位置不一樣。

on a bicycle, on a motorbike 騎自行車/摩托車

on a horse騎馬

on表通過，

on the radio, on television 通過廣播、電視

on表“靠近、接壤” Korea lies on the northeast of China.朝鮮位于中國東北方。 in the northeast of China指的是在中國東北這個范圍里，如吉林。(不挨著用to，在范圍內用in，如Japan lies to the northeast of China. Jilin lies in the northeast of China.)

on 表在左右邊，

on the left, on the right　在左邊、在右邊

on 表進行

on sale在廉價出售，on show在展覽，on the march在行軍中，on the move在移動/活動中，on the run在跑著on the air在廣播 on the rise 在上漲 on duty在值日 on watch在值班/在放哨 on parade在游行

at強調“點”，可翻譯成“在…”“在…處”或者“在...旁”。

in則強調一個范圍或在一個相對封閉的空間里，翻譯成“在…”“在…里”。

有的地點不是相對封閉空間，如bus stop，不能用in，有的地點是相對封閉空間，則in，at都可以用，有時差別不大，如at the office在辦公室，in the office 在辦公室里。有時差別很大，如，in the lost and found case 失物在失物招領的柜子里，人的話只能用at the lost and found case在失物招領處。再如，at the park一般指公園門口, meet you at the park在公園處見面，可以換成in但是意思不一樣，turn left at the park在公園處向左拐，不可以換成in，在公園里邊向左拐的意思很奇怪。但是可以這么用take a walk in the park在公園里散步。根據不同情境選擇介詞，通過in和at的基本含義具體翻譯就知道有無差別了。

以at為例

at表在…處/旁

at the entrance, 在入口處

at the bus stop, 在公共汽車站點處

at the station, 在車站，(in the station在車站里，at the station在車站處， 比如門口或里邊)

at the cinema , 在電影院(in the cinema在電影院里，at the cinema在電影院處，比如門口)

at home, 在家(in my home幾乎無差別)

at my aunt’s 在我姑姑家，at the doctor’s在診所/醫務室 at smith’s在史密斯商店

at school, 在校(in school幾乎無差別)但，on (the)campus在校園里

at table在就餐/吃飯 at the table在飯桌旁

at the airport在飛機場

at the door/gate, 在門/大門口

at the top of the mountain 在山頂

at the end of the road 在路的盡頭

at the crossroads 在十字路口

at the foot of the hill 在山腳下

at Center Street 在中心街 at No.80 Beijing Road 在北京路80號(at表住址， on Center Street則表示在中心街的街道上或者街道兩側商店的位置 )

at the side 在一邊

at reception 在招待會上

at work　在工作

at the meeting 在會議上

at the party在聚會上

以in為例

in表在…里

in London. 我住在倫敦。

in France, at Paris. 在法國巴黎。(相對法國來講，巴黎只是一個“點”)

in the city在城市里， in the countryside在農村里，但是，in town在城鎮里，不加冠詞。

in the middle of the river在河的中間

in front of the post office 在郵局的前邊。(如指里邊的前邊加the，如in the front of the room或者at the front of the store。in范圍大，at范圍小)

in the center of the city在城市的中心，如強調一點用at，at the center of the lake在這個湖的中心處

in the east/west/north/south在東方/西方/北方/南方

in the moonlight在月光下/里，in the sun在陽光下/里(注意不用under)

in the open air在空曠處，在戶外。

in a car　乘汽車

in a taxi 乘的士

in a helicopter　乘直升機

in a boat　乘小船

in a lift (elevator)　乘電梯

in the newspaper 在報上(如文字、新聞等)(但，The key is on the newspaper. 鑰匙在報紙上，指報紙表面上。The box is in the newspaper. 盒子在報紙里，指被報紙包裹了起來。)

in the sky　在空中

in the team在隊伍里(如強調是隊員，不是保健醫的話，用on the team意思是play for the team或者be a member of the team)

in the chair在椅子上/里 (現在的椅子一般都有扶手，用in，沒有扶手則用on the chair。on the bench/sofa 在凳子/沙發上)

in line在隊伍里/排隊，習慣不加a，in a queue/row在隊伍/在一排里

in public 在公共場合=in public places

in the field(s)在田地里

試比較：

in the corner (of the wall)，

at the street corner,

on the corner of the desk

in the corner (of the wall)，在角落里，在墻角，

at the street corner，在街道拐角處，

on the corner of the desk在桌角上，
