　　different 形容詞，意為“不同的”。其名詞形式為“difference”。

　　The two answers are different.

　　這兩個答案是不同的。

　　Can you tell me the differences between them?

　　你能告訴我他們的不同之處嗎？

　　be different from意為“與……不同”。例如：

　　Saying a thing is very different from doing it.

　　說一件事和做一件事很不相同。

　　10. fish

　�。�1）fish既可作可數(shù)名詞，也可以作不可數(shù)名詞。用作可數(shù)名詞指魚的條數(shù)時，單復(fù)數(shù)相同。例如：

　　I bought two fish in the market. 我在市場買了兩條魚。

　　（2）fish用作可數(shù)名詞指魚的種類時，復(fù)數(shù)形式是fishes. 例如：

　　There are many kinds of fishes in the lake. 湖里有許多種魚。

　�。�3）fish作不可數(shù)名詞，意為“魚肉”。

　　Do you like fish or eggs？你喜歡吃魚肉還是雞蛋？

　　（4）fish 還可以作動詞，意為“釣魚”。

　　Let’s go fishing tomorrow. 讓我們明天去釣魚吧。

　　11. answer

　　（1）answer 作可數(shù)名詞，意為“答案、回答、答復(fù)”，后常接介詞to表示“……的答案”。例如：

　　I don’t know the answer to the question.

　　我不知道這個問題的答案。

　�。�2）answer 作動詞時，既可以作及物動詞，也可以做不及物動詞。作及物動詞時意為“回答、答復(fù)、應(yīng)答”；作不及物動詞時意為“回答”。例如：

　　The boy can’t answer this question.

　　那個男孩回答不出問題。（及物）

　　He answered with a smile. 他微笑作答。（不及物）

　　12. blow

　　blow 不及物動詞，意為“吹”；詞組blow out 意為“吹滅”。out在這里是副詞，和blow構(gòu)成動副關(guān)系；后接名詞時，名詞可以放在詞組的中間也可以放在out的后面；后接代詞時，代詞必須放在詞組的中間。例如：

　　The wind blew out the candle. 風(fēng)吹滅了蠟燭。

　　The wind blew the match out. 風(fēng)把火柴吹滅了。

　　The wind blew it out. 風(fēng)把它吹滅了。

　　1. I’d like beef noodles please.

　　（1）I’d like＝I would like，would like的意思是“想要”，相當(dāng)于動詞want，但比want語氣更加委婉。would可以和主語縮寫為’d，例如：I’d＝I would；You’d＝Y(jié)ou would；He’d＝He would等。例如：

　　I’d like a large bowl, please. 我想要一大碗。

　　He’d like some apples. 他想要一些蘋果。

　　（2）“would like sth.”表示“想要某物”。

　　My mother would like some milk. 我的媽媽想要一些牛奶。

　　（3）“would like to do”意為“想要做某事”。例如：

　　I’d like to visit the Great Wall. 我想要參觀長城。
